Easy Grapevine Ball Topiary

Topiary with pink daisies and butterflies

I know you can't wait to see the reveal for my daughter's room.  I have 4 more projects before her room is complete.  This craft is quick and easy to do.  What to see how I did it? Keep reading to see the tutorial.

Step 1:  Paint Pot

I used DIY Chalk Paint in the color Faded Hydrangea by Better Homes and Gardens.

How to Make Chalk Paint:

2 cups paint
5 TBS of Plaster of Paris
2 TBS of water

I used a baby formula can to mix and store the paint.  It worked great!

Step 2:  Assemble

Glue 3 bushels of daisies (18 flowers)  to a grapevine ball.

Cut a wooden dowel to 12" and glued it to the grapevine ball first.  Glue floral foam to the inside of the pot.  Insert the dowel into the floral foam and secure it with glue.  Cover the foam with moss.

Step 3:  Accessorize

Wrap dowel with ribbon and tie a bow at the top.

I used my Martha Stewart Butterfly Punch to add a few butterflies.  I added a flower at the bottom too.

There you have it an Easy Topiary.

    1. Thanks you. The grapevine balls are cheaper at Wal-Mart than the styrofoam balls.
