Mixin' it up in the kitchen

It has been a week since my last post and there have been a lot of changes going on around here. Today, I want to share my kitchen entry way.  I painted the entryway from the garage Whispering Wind by Olympic.  It is also the same color I painted the Master Bedroom.   I wanted to make a statement with color but not with paint.  I painted the mirror teal and added bright colored flowers.  I placed colored glass bottles (from Kirkland's) and a framed picture to add color on the shelf.  It really brightens up the entry and my mood.

  1. I like to use a neutral paint also and the same with major upholstered furniture. You can change the whole color scheme of the room with the seasons by changing accessories, art work, rugs, etc.
