Mod Podge & Paper Butterflies Lamp Shade

I can mark another project off the list for my daughter's room.  Only 3 more until it's complete, maybe.  I found this great little lamp for my daughter's room at Dollar General!  I saw a blank slate and knew I could find something crafty to do to it.  A stencil?  Some ruffles?  How about flowers?

How about Mod Podge?

I used hot glue to add rick rack to the top and bottom of the shade.

I used my Martha Stewart butterfly punch and made lots and lots of butterflies.

I used Mod Podge to glue the butterflies to the lampshade.

Then I bent the wings back and used hot glue to attach the butterflies.

A few new additions to her room!
I found this great storage box at Micheal's.  It really helps fill the space.  I also bought a smaller box to sit on her dresser.

I found this great magazine rack at, a yard sale for $2.
